Weather Conditions and Show Operation

The Fire of Anatolia show takes place at the ancient theater of Aspendos, one of Turkey's most famous open-air historical venues. Because of this, the performance directly depends on the weather and season.
April – May
Evenings in the Aspendos region are already quite comfortable, with air temperatures usually around +18…+26°C. Short rain showers or a cool evening breeze are possible, so bring a light sweater or wrap. Cancellation is unlikely during this period, although a heavy downpour can cause the show to be postponed.
June – September
This is the main show season. Evening temperatures usually stay around +25…+34°C, and the weather is mostly dry and warm. This is the most comfortable time to attend: warm evenings, very little rain, and a pleasant open-air atmosphere at the ancient theater.
October
The weather remains quite comfortable, especially in the first half of the month. Evening temperatures are approximately +20…+28°C. Toward the end of October, cooler evenings and brief rain are possible, so light outerwear is recommended.
November – March
The show usually does not operate during this period because the tourist season has ended and weather conditions are unstable. Rain, strong wind and cool evenings with temperatures around +10…+18°C are possible.
