! An Egyptian visa stamped into your passport is required for this excursion. If you only have a Sinai stamp and need help obtaining a visa, we can arrange it immediately before the tour. Visa fee: $30 + organizer service fee: $8, total $38 (you will leave the hotel about 1 hour earlier) ! ! Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu is not included. If time allows, tickets can be purchased at the ticket office by the pyramid for 1,500 EGP (about $30). During the optional Nile boat trip, guests who do not join must wait on the bus in accordance with Egyptian tourism regulations! 👉 A tour to the pyramids in Cairo is a chance to see one of the greatest wonders of the ancient world and connect with Egypt’s history. Program:
📍Departure from Sharm El Sheikh at around 00:30, depending on your hotel location (the drive to Cairo takes about 8 hours and may sometimes take up to 10 hours each way depending on police escort conditions. If this is important to you, we recommend choosing the Cairo & Pyramids by Plane tour); 📍Egyptian Museum in Cairo (one of the world’s largest collections of ancient Egyptian art, with around 160,000 exhibits covering all periods of Egyptian history); 📍Pyramids of Giza (Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure); 📍The Great Sphinx; 📍Papyrus institute and oil factory; 📍Optional motorboat ride on the Nile (+$10, purchased directly from the guide on the bus); 📍Lunch (buffet); 📍Transfer back to the hotel at approximately 01:00 (departure from Cairo is around 16:00–17:00. Return may sometimes be later depending on road conditions and police checkpoints).
