Additional Information
Departure and return times are approximate and depend on your hotel location. The exact transfer time will be provided after booking;
Please wait for the excursion transfer outside the hotel — at the entrance or barrier. Please note that the bus may not be allowed to enter some hotel grounds. This is due to internal hotel rules and to avoid conflicts with local guides;
Transfer is included in the price from all areas of Side;
Please note: the guide may change the order of the stops, but the entire excursion program remains unchanged;
For children. Children without a separate ticket travel without their own seat on the bus (on an adult's lap). If you need a separate seat, book the child with a seat;
The excursion has an active format, so it is better suited to adults and older children. Traveling with small children may be less comfortable due to the full program and the way the tour moves between locations;
If you plan to purchase photos and videos from the photographer, bring a USB drive. After returning to the hotel, make sure the correct files were saved;
Payment is made on the day of the excursion. US dollars, euros and Turkish lira are accepted. Card payment may also be available (confirm when booking).
Weather conditions and recommendations for the Alanya excursion from Side
The excursion takes place in several locations at once: on the Mediterranean coast, in central Alanya, at Cleopatra Beach and on the Dim River in the mountains. Thanks to this, the route is quite comfortable even in summer, as part of the day is spent near the water and in cooler natural areas.
April – May
Spring is considered one of the most comfortable periods for the trip. Air temperatures are usually around +22…+30°C, while the sea gradually warms up to +20…+23°C. It is especially pleasant to walk around Alanya Castle and enjoy the panoramas without intense heat. The water in the Dim River remains cool almost all year round, so the area near the river can feel fresh. We recommend bringing a light sweater or windbreaker for evening walks and the boat trip.
June – September
Summer is the most popular season for this excursion. Air temperatures in Alanya can reach +32…+40°C, while the Mediterranean Sea warms up to +27…+30°C. The boat trip and stops by the water make the heat easier to handle, but the daytime sun is very strong. We strongly recommend a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and drinking water. Even in summer, the Dim River remains cool at around +15…+18°C, making it especially pleasant on a hot day.
October
One of the best months for the excursion. The air usually warms to +25…+30°C, while the sea remains warm at around +25…+27°C. The intense summer heat is already gone, so walks around Alanya, the castle and Cleopatra Beach become especially comfortable.
November – March
In winter, the excursion runs less frequently and depends on weather conditions. Air temperatures are usually +15…+22°C, while the sea cools to +17…+21°C. Boat trips may be cancelled or shortened in strong waves, wind or rain. Closed shoes and warm clothing are strongly recommended for walks by the sea and at viewpoints.
Useful Recommendations
▪️Comfortable shoes are best for the excursion, especially if you plan to walk around the castle and viewpoints;
▪️Even in summer, it can feel windy during the boat trip, especially while the yacht is moving;
▪️The Dim River area is always slightly cooler than the coast;
▪️In hot weather, we strongly recommend sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat;
▪️In the shoulder season and winter, bring a light jacket or sweater for the evening and the boat trip;
▪️In unfavorable weather, the route or duration of the boat trip may be adjusted for guest safety.
