👉 Flying from Sharm El Sheikh to Luxor is a fast and comfortable way to reach the world’s largest open-air museum. Famous temples, royal valleys, and monumental sites await, accompanied by fascinating stories about ancient history.

👉 Luxor is one of Egypt’s most important archaeological centers and attracts thousands of visitors every year. From Sharm El Sheikh, the practical way to reach it is by plane; the overland route is available from Hurghada.

Program:
📍Departure from the hotel to the airport at around 04:00 (the exact time is provided after booking; flight time to Luxor is approximately 1.5 hours);
📍Arrival in Luxor, East Bank: visit Karnak Temple (scarab monument and Sacred Lake);
📍Cross the Nile by boat;
📍Lunch at a café on the Nile (buffet);
📍West Bank: visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon;
📍Valley of the Queens: visit three tombs of royal women;
📍Alabaster and/or oil workshop;
📍Optional boat trip to Banana Island (+$20);
📍The program ends at around 17:00;
📍Flight from Luxor back to Sharm El Sheikh;
📍Arrival at the hotel approximately between 20:00 and 23:00 (depending on the airline schedule and possible changes);

What to bring

Passport, lunch box (order it in advance at your hotel reception), warm clothing (the bus and plane are air-conditioned, especially important in winter), comfortable shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, cash for the excursion and small expenses, and a power bank for your phone. Do NOT bring water or other liquids, as they may be confiscated at the airport!

👉 A $175 deposit is required to purchase the flight ticket. If you cancel the excursion, the deposit is non-refundable;

👉 Passport photos for all participants must be sent in advance to arrange the tourist police travel permit and purchase flight tickets;

👉 Tickets are purchased for available flights offered by charter airlines (evening flights may occasionally be delayed in Luxor);

👉 An Egyptian visa stamped into your passport is required for this excursion. If you only have a Sinai stamp, the organizers can help arrange the visa before the tour. Cost: visa $30 + organizer service fee $8, total $38 (an organizer representative will collect your passport at the hotel and return it to you during the excursion);

👉 Citizens of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are not permitted to travel to Cairo under this arrangement and require a visa obtained in advance from an Egyptian consulate. We do not have information on where or how to apply; please contact your Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant consulate;

👉 Transportation around Luxor is by air-conditioned bus with a restroom;

👉 Visits to the Valley of the Queens and Valley of the Kings include three main tombs. Additional tombs require separate tickets purchased on site, including Tutankhamun’s tomb (around $20; payment is required in Egyptian pounds);

👉 Please note that guides working for the organizers may offer products for sale — this is common practice in Egypt. Our online service does not control the quality or prices of these products;

👉 During the Banana Island visit, guests who do not book the optional trip wait on the bus while it moves to the opposite bank. The trip is purchased on site and paid in cash;
