📍Papyrus institute and oil factory;
📍Optional boat ride on the Nile (additional fee from $10 to $20, purchased directly from the guide on the bus);

What to bring

Passport with visa, travel insurance, a lunch box (order it in advance at your hotel reception), warm clothing in winter (sweatshirt and trousers), travel pillow, comfortable shoes, hat, power bank for your phone, and cash for the excursion and small expenses. Do NOT bring water or other liquids, as they may be confiscated at the airport!

Additional information

👉 The tour must be booked at least 2 days in advance (preferably one week during high season) so flight tickets can be purchased;

👉 A $175 deposit is required to purchase the flight ticket. If you cancel the excursion, the deposit is non-refundable (the remaining tour balance is paid during the transfer before the flight);

👉 Tickets are purchased for the available flights offered by charter airlines (evening flights may occasionally be delayed in Cairo);

👉 Passport photos for all participants must be sent in advance to arrange the tourist police travel permit and purchase flight tickets;

👉 An Egyptian visa stamped into your passport is required for this excursion. If you only have a Sinai stamp, the organizers can help arrange the visa before the tour. Cost: visa $30 + organizer service fee $8, total $38 (an organizer representative will collect your passport at the hotel and return it to you during the excursion);

👉 Citizens of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are not permitted to travel to Cairo under this arrangement and require a visa obtained in advance from an Egyptian consulate. We do not have information on where or how to apply; please contact your Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant consulate;

👉 Transportation around Cairo is by air-conditioned bus with a restroom;

👉 During the Nile boat trip, guests who choose not to participate must wait on or near the bus in accordance with Egyptian tourism regulations;
